On the 21st of September, Professor Zhong Guangming of UTHSCSA (University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio) and Dr. Fan Huizhou of Rutgers University were invited to HBNU for academic exchange activities. Both professors gave a lecture on "pathogenicity and vaginal microbiome" and "Intrinsic and Extrinsic Factors that Regulate Chlamydial Infection" at the College of Medical Laboratory, room 301 of the Research building at the West Campus. 2013 graduate and medical students of the College of Pharmacy, Life Science Research Center and some teachers were present at the lecture. On the 10th of September 2016, the Medical Council of Mauritius sent to the Government Gazette of Mauritius No. 81 the Medical Council Act which is apparently the government notice No. 185 of 2016. The Regulations of the new Medical Council Act were made by the Minister, after consultation with the Medical Council, under sections 2 and 42 of the Medical Council Act to revoke the 2004 Medical Council Act. The medical council of India was enraged upon receiving news that some Indian students upon graduating high school are misled into applying into medical institutions which are not of international standard and quality especially in other countries in Asia, thus it released a provisional list of schools which are approved for India students yearning to study outside India. The Foreign Students in Hebei North University participated in the Third Session of Chinese Skills Competition for Foreign Teachers and Students. The third session of Chinese language skills contest for foreign teachers and students was held on 21st December 2006, in the provincial capital--Shijiazhuang. More than 40 institutions; private schools and secondary schools, nearly 300 foreign teachers and students participated in the event. It was the first time Hebei North University sent students to participate in the contest. During the contest, the contestants displayed their Chinese skills. On 27th April, Professor Kong Jiming of Manitoba University in Canada and Professor Zhong Guang Ming of Texas University in America were invited to Hebei North University to give an academic lecture. Professor Kong Jiming graduated from The First Military Medical University, and he learned from professor Zhong Shizhen, one of the founders of modern clinical anatomy.
