At the invitation of SINO-EU Agricultural Exchange Foundation From May 21,2013 to May 26, 2013, Vice-president Professor Zhang Mingzhu led a delegation to go to Dusseldorf school in Germany to participate in the overseas internship seminar of 2013 SINO-EU Agricultural Exchanges Foundation. On the morning of April 27th, International Education Exchange Center organized more than 50 students from Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, Ghana, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Denmark, South Africa and other countries to participate in the new campus planting activities. Three professors from Canada, Manitoba University, School of pharmacy visited Hebei North University. AU day is celebrated allover Africa to commemorate the establishment of the organization of African unity (OAU; French: organization de l’unite africaine (OUA)) on the 25 may 1963 which was later disbanded on 9th July 2002 and replaced by the African union, as such on the 25th may 2016 the African student union of HBNU wit collaboration from the faculty members of Hebei north university made it possible for students especially African students to also celebrate the occasion. On the 24th of November 2016, ten international students of HBNU along with a teacher travelled to Shijiazhuang the capital of Hebei province to represent the school in a contest (the 10TH HEBEI PROVINCE FOREIGN STUDENTS CHINESE LANGUAGE SKILLS AND TALENT CONTENT PERFORMANCE) The program was hosted by Hebei normal university with sponsorship from the government. Hebei north university held the first session of foreign students’ sports competition from 30th April to 3rd May. There were 15 events in this sports competition including soccer, volleyball, cricket, running etc., and 9 interesting competition events. Every foreign student strove in the sports. The Foreign Students in Hebei North University participated in the Third Session of Chinese Skills Competition for Foreign Teachers and Students. The third session of Chinese language skills contest for foreign teachers and students was held on 21st December 2006, in the provincial capital--Shijiazhuang. More than 40 institutions; private schools and secondary schools, nearly 300 foreign teachers and students participated in the event. It was the first time Hebei North University sent students to participate in the contest. During the contest, the contestants displayed their Chinese skills. On May 14th, the International Education Exchange Center arranged for foreign teachers--阿龙 in our school to give a lecture about the diagnosis of lung disease knowledge for 06 batch students majoring in clinical medicine. At the lecture, the teacher introduced lung disease transmission, clinical symptoms, diagnostic criteria, and how well the individual prevention works. He also introduced the methods and techniques of advanced treatment for lung diseases currently adopted in the classroom, and repeatedly explained it in fluent Chinese. The students gave a thunderous applause, the atmosphere was active. After the lecture, the teacher and students discussed questions. Diwali is a Hindu festival of light celebrated annually which spiritually signifies light prevailing over darkness, good over evil, knowledge ove  ignorance and hope over despair. It has a 5-day celebration period. HBNU is one of the  top medical universities in China . This year fell on the 31st October and students of HBNU were not left out of the celebration as there are religious Hindu students on campus the majority from India, Nepal and South Africa. Due to the medical college of HBNU having a really tight schedule the students could only celebrate for two days.
