Graduation Ceremony For 2014 Graduates Of Hebei North University

On June 11th, the Educational Counselor of the Embassy of Pakistan, Mr. Navid Hassan attended a symposium organized by Pakistani students of HBNU at the Shaw Auditorium on the second floor of the school library. The director of the International Education and Exchange Center Mr. Xu Tong presided over the forum.

On the morning of June 12th, the Graduation Ceremony for the 2014 graduates of the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery was held at the Boya hall. The Educational Counselor of the Embassy of Pakistan, Mr. NAVID HASSAN, the Director of Hebei Province Foreign Affairs Office, Zhao Yifeng, Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department of Hebei Province, Department of Korean Education, school leaders of relevant departments, faculty leaders, teachers and graduate students of 2014. With nearly 500 students graduating.

Party Secretary, Chancellor Professor Zhang Li gave a speech on behalf of the school. He hoped that the students will return home and make due contributions to building their country. They will also be messengers of friendship between their country and China. He also hoped that the students will carry forward the fine tradition of Hebei North University. HBNU is one of the medical colleges in China.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Niu Chunyu announced the "Hebei North University degree evaluation committee's decision on granting a bachelor's degree to students in clinical medicine," Professor Xu Tong, director of International Education Exchange Center announced that " Hebei North University students who were admitted in 2009 made a great choice in deciding to study medicine."

The Educational Counselor of the Embassy of Pakistan, Mr. Navid Hassan also gave a speech at the ceremony congratulating the school and the 2009 grandaunts that decided to study abroad.

Since 2005, there have been four batches of medical graduates. In 2014, there were a total of 115 graduates, which were from Pakistan, Ghana, Nepal, Nigeria, Turkey, Egypt, USA, Canada, South Africa, and many other countries.

After several years of training, 115 foreign students completed the course requirements, passed all examinations, qualified and graduated, in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance to grant a Bachelor in my school received their medical degree.

After the ceremony, a graduation party was organized with the theme "We Are Together". Majority of the grandaunts and Chinese students in the school performed on stage. Students from Africa, Pakistan performed "folk dance skewers" during the entire party till its climax. The entire show was immersed in a lively atmosphere of jubilation.
