Life in HBNU is fantastic, so is the international students life in China. Student Associations
The university gives the students lots of opportunities to get involved. There are clubs and societies to choose from. It's not about the degree but also about a great social life.
International students are encouraged to participate in various extracurricular activities and join student associations in the University. Many international students join cultural and educational societies such as the African students union, Pakistani union, National Union of Ghanaian students, etc. Extracurricular activities such as a welcome party for new students, New Year's party, graduation party, tour and visit for international students to famous places, sports competitions, etc. are organized by International exchange and education college for international students. The on-campus sports facilities include the following; badminton, table tennis, basketball, soccer, and billiards. The China medical university fees are reasonable.
Campus Life Guide
The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), China Construction Bank and Bank of China are located around the university and provide services for deposit and exchange of foreign currencies such as US dollar, Euro, Pound and Yen can be exchanged to Renminbi (RMB). But the traveler's check is not acceptable. Large amounts of foreign currencies and traveler's check can be exchanged to RMB at the head branch of Bank of China located in the downtown area. Banks are open from 8:30 to 17:00 every day.
On-campus Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) can be found at places like the entrance to Dining Hall, the post office, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China at the entrance of the East gate.
There are supermarkets, printing shops, bookstore and a photography studio located in the great dining hall. In addition, the Front Desk of the Student Dormitory, provides a 24 hour service such as change of dormitory, buying of water and electricity cards for use in the dormitory, lending spare keys of dormitory, opening doors, helping students when facilities need repairing, delivering packages, receiving complaints and consultations about relevant services, etc.
Right outside the East gate of the main campus you can find banks, post office, optical shops, barbershops, restaurants, game centers, gym and much more.
A branch of the post office is located on campus at the Hong Zhen building. Other parcel services such as Yuantong (YTO), Yunda and Shenfeng (SF) express parcel services are located on campus by the great dining hall.

International students can use the Dining Hall which is open from 7:00-9:00 in the morning, 11:30-1:30 at noon and from 4:30-8:30 in the evening. Students may have meals in any of the students' dining hall. Students are expected to maintain the order in the dining halls, help to keep the places clean and tidy, take care of the facilities and equipment and show respect to the working staffs.
